Hamilton’s fierce energy and ambition is pure fire, and I wish I’d listened to the soundtrack when it first came out. I’m not BIPOC, but even tangentially, the story resonated with me in my own meaningful way, especially the meta- concept of reclaiming history from people who have always thought it belongs only to themselves and then appreciating it in a way they can’t claim. The design aesthetic is beautiful too and so easy and rewarding to draw inspiration from.
